The agency says recent operations recovered poppy straw, opium, cannabis, cash, vehicles and a firearm, with four people arrested.

By SCULTRA Services Editorial DeskPublished Updated

The Central Bureau of Narcotics has reported a series of Rajasthan operations involving suspected narcotics, cash, vehicles and a firearm.

According to the agency, the combined seizures included 3,937 kilograms of poppy straw, 9.6 kilograms of opium, 1.9 kilograms of hydroponic cannabis, ₹18.42 lakh in cash, six vehicles and a loaded country-made pistol. Four people were arrested. One operation involved 2,292.460 kilograms of poppy straw found in a truck, while another concerned a parcel intercepted at Jaipur's foreign post office.

Why it matters

The reported cases show the range of channels enforcement teams must examine, from road freight to international parcels, and the importance of connecting seizures with financial and network investigations.

SCULTRA point of view

Seizure volume is an activity measure, not a complete outcome. Stronger assessment requires case progression, forensic confirmation, network disruption and legally tested results over time.

Limitations

These are agency allegations and the investigation continues. Arrests are not convictions, while the identity of substances, ownership and legal liability remain subject to forensic examination and judicial process.
