Pension campaign reports resolution of 2,306 older grievances
The pension department reports a 72% closure rate across 3,193 selected cases handled by 40 ministries and departments.
The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare says Special Campaign 3 resolved 2,306 of 3,193 selected older grievances between 7 July and 31 August.
Forty ministries and departments participated, producing a reported closure rate of 72%. Follow-up is continuing on the remaining cases.
Why it matters
Delayed pension resolution can affect household income security and confidence in public administration, especially when cases have remained unresolved across multiple service interactions.
SCULTRA point of view
Closure counts should be paired with the age and type of case, claimant confirmation, completed payment, time to resolution and evidence that recurring causes have been corrected.
Limitations
The figures are department-reported and do not provide an independently audited case-level denominator, claimant-satisfaction measure or breakdown of the remedies delivered.
