Manipur field review records delays in housing and pension payments
Beneficiaries reported late PMAY-G instalments and National Social Assistance Programme pensions during a three-day monitoring visit.
Rural Development Ministry officers visited Bishnupur and Churachandpur from 8 to 10 September to review rural programmes and meet self-help groups and beneficiaries.
The official release records complaints about delayed instalments under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin and delayed pension payments under the National Social Assistance Programme. District officials were asked to resolve the issues and strengthen scheme coordination and local awareness.
