India and Thailand seek faster trade-agreement review and stronger business links
The two commerce ministers discussed market access, investment and the ASEAN-India goods agreement, but announced no new commercial commitment.
Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal met Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Suphajee Suthumpun in New Delhi for talks on trade and investment.
The official account covers market access, trade promotion, business-to-business links, the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement review and more active use of the India-Thailand Joint Trade Committee. The visiting business delegation represented sectors including space, cold chain, food processing, health and innovation.
