India and France plan deeper cooperation in human spaceflight and space industry

Indian and French ministers have discussed deeper cooperation in human spaceflight, advanced space technology and links between the two countries' agencies and industries.
The discussion preceded the Bengaluru Space Expo from 7 to 9 September and the International Space Summit in Paris from 9 to 10 September. Sustainable space use, scientific-data access and frequency management were also on the agenda.
Why it matters
Bilateral cooperation can influence research, mission capability, industrial partnerships and governance as commercial and public activity in orbit becomes more complex.
