DILRMP 3.0 proposes a Rs 565.50 crore GIS-enabled land-records stack
The proposed five-year programme would connect parcel IDs, maps, registration and revenue-court records across a common digital framework.
The Department of Land Resources is due to launch operational guidelines for DILRMP 3.0, a 2026-2031 central-sector programme with an anticipated outlay of Rs 565.50 crore.
Proposed components include 14-digit Bhu-Aadhaar parcel IDs, cadastral-map georeferencing, paperless registration, a registration repository, integrated revenue-court case management, the NAKSHA urban pilot and upgrades to 75 sub-registrar offices at a stated cost of Rs 37.5 crore.
Why it matters
Connecting maps, ownership, registration and disputes could reduce fragmented administration, while errors or weak safeguards could directly affect legal rights and valuable assets.
